Hey guys,

I been loving all the clips Ive heard of the Marsha/Friedman modded amps out there and was wondering if there was a low wattage amp that can be modded. Im aware of the Jet City JCA20 but Im looking for the HBE/JBE mod in particular along with the SAT switch. I loves me a ton of gain and saturation in my tone. Plus Id rather start with an amp that is better made off the bat. Either that or can some sort of power scaling be installed along with these mods in a higher wattage head?

Thanks,

Dave

You are better off with the jet city. It is made very well and you can do the JBE and sat if you like. The Sat and Jbe is as much gain as the HBE you won't miss it. Also I can not think of a better low wattage amp to do.

How about a Jet City 22 - the two channel , so that I could have a clean clean channel and the modded , rounder, smoother OD channel with Fat PLUS a really good PPI master or power scaling for low volume recording - Possible ?

Recommended on the 20 watt or 50 watt ?
