well have a VHT 50CL and currently am thinking of changing my stock 8 stringer to either a lundgren M8 or a BKP warpig? ... am looking at good notes separation not flubby at low end nice sweet mids, treble with raw and open tone. with the extras in to make it more flavourable and expressive.. high output but still remains quiet when handling high gain.. any introduction on this two pickups ? am looking at both the neck and bridge set on who a bridge and decent neck pu would sound like ...

The M8 has a unique character I've never heard from another pickup. I would be certain you want that sound before getting them. I found them not to work for my playing style and amps at the time. The Warpig isn't a pickup I would ever consider for an 8-string, especially if you're wanting clarity. The M8 is very clear, but has a certain piercing quality of it's own flavor.

piercing quality ? its too bright as you mean ?

have heard the clips on the lungdren M6 vs the aftermath BKP... and the M6 sounded clearer to me thou its gotta more mid grind lower gain... perhaps of the gain and stronger mids factor?
