Man I might be wrong but this will be the next Suhr/Anderson........

freaking AMAZING job and that headstock is the sexiest thing out there right now.

freaking awesome Jerry,

Thanks Joey.....glad you're liking them so far. Man, that's a lot to live up to, but thanks for the support! Here's two of the latest El Machete's that were custom orders.....

What? It is just another Strat headstock copy. I sort of wish Jerry had came up with something more original. But, that's just me....

Jerry's guitars as a whole though, look very appealing - relic work, hardware selection, PU mounting, neck. I could see one of them relics in my rack in the future. The Chopper T definitely is on my list of must-have's.

Washburn used a headstock like that

Similar....but definitely not the same. Side by side they are pretty different. The Washburn has a long throat, a large 70's style head, much larger outward cuts coming out from the throat and the hook is based off a Firebird. But they are similar in style for sure,

Headstock design is a tricky thing. You try to stay close to what people really like and are used to, then it looks cool and familiar but with a twist. But maybe not ultra original. You design something totally different and out there, and its very original...but very unfamiliar to everyone and a lot of people hate it. So you have to choose one road or the other.

I like vintage guitars and like to stay within that style, so I went with a twist on a familiar design. After all, most every 6-per-side headstock (obviously not all) is based off a Fender or Jackson (really an Explorer) in one way or another. Just a tweak here and there. Suhr, Anderson and Kramers are almost identical...so I definitely didn't want to go that way. As with everything in design, everybody has their opinions....no right or wrong here!

Looks good Jerry. Sort of tired of the whole flamed/ quilt tops right now. Your relics and designs are inspired but definitively original. Looking forward to trying some of your guitars at Namm this year.

Good thing I didn't go with my first idea, wangcaster beat me to it!!!  (Yes, that is an actual guitar!)

A lot of these photos were posted in the Luxxtone Guitars subforum, even though most people don't look there.

Jerry's guitars look great, but until you play one - you're really missing out. I've played several at Tone Merchants and they are the best feeling guitars I've ever played.

I like the look of Luxxtone's headstock. There are a lot of crappy looking ones out there that I wouldn't consider buying regardless of how great the guitar may be.

The Luxxtone headstock is more slim than the nuno and the lines are very clean too. It makes you feel as cool as it looks when your playing and you look at the headstock, it just gives off rad mojo.
Personally it's my favorite stratocaster derivative headstock out there.

I like it better than a standard strat headstock.

Nothing like naming two guys that have been in the business for 30 years, one you can argue is the founding father of the superstrat.

No pressure

I think EVH, Grover Jackson, Wayne Charvel or Gary Kramer might lay claim to that.

Damn where can I get a Wangcaster???

Seriously the El Machete #1 looks freaking awesome...

Cant get on Facebook here but I will be looking tonight for sure.
