Bored at work so thought I would see what you all have to say about this. Just went to a wet/dry rig and have my CAA 2x12 loaded with M75's 65watters. Looking at what would be the best compliment pair of speakers to put in my Stone Age 2x12. Of course they would have to be of very similar wattage and voicings since Im only running one poweramp and therefore they'd be using same mix. I know 2 more M75's would work but wondering if that would be to bassy or not enuf mids by having all 4 be M75's? Not against pairing each M75 with another speaker per 2x12 either..? Running a Gower Killer Kali++ amp with Suhr Iso Line out and ART SLA-2 power amp. I play mostly rock, hard rock, not nu, but some metal, classic type stuff. Thanks for your input.

Here's what Im down to thinking... cabs paired with Gower Killer Kali++ and each loaded with one of the following setups... Opinions?

M75/M75
M75/H75
M75/V30
M75/J75

Is the wet cab only going to be the effects (i.e., fully wet), or will it have dry signal mixed in with the effects as well?

Regardless, I probably wouldn't do more M75's in the "wet cab". Frankly, I would consider pulling the ad for those H75's you're currently selling and just giving those a whirl. J75's might be a good option too - they have a little more bite than the M75's, which would bring the effects (e.g., delays and 'verb) out a little more. The M's are great for dry tones, but can sound woofy and dark in a wet cab.

And that's just Scumbacks. Plenty of other choices out there as well.......

Thanks bro.. Yeah, Im using my M75 loaded 2x12 as my dry cab and the other (loaded with ?) will be my wet...which I will add level of wetness with poweramp. Im not partial to just Scumbacks so Im open to whatever out there may compliment the M75's and sound good in my wet Stone Age 2x12. thought about the J75's since they are suppose to sit in between the Ms and Hs.. The H75's would be convenient since they are sitting at my house right now  . Just want to make sure I get the right ones since I cant afford the time or money to try all different combos. Thanks again for your input. appreciate it

Playing blues and my rig is 2 m75s and 2 bm75s.

I had a m75/h75 for a bit but I much prefer the m75/bm75 setup.

Think I've decided to go with the J75's.. Run each cab with M75/J75. Might consider the BM75's....

I use a Dr Z "Z Best" loaded with a pair of Lynchbacks for my wet cab and when I use a 2x12 for the dry I use a Bogner OS 2X12 loaded with J75/H55 mix and originally had the J75/M75 mix. Both sound great but I prefer the H55/J75 mix. They sound huge with a nice low end.

The M75/J75 mix kicks ass!!!

In my scumback 2x12 I've loaded it with BM75/M75 mix
Great and punch with grit for dry tones

I'm toying with the idea at the moment in running my scumback 4x12 h75/j75 wet for home & studio use with a ehx magnum 44. Anybody done this yet? I'm new to wet/dry and the footprint of the pedal is easy to implement.

I think you will find on the wet side, speaker selection will have little impact on your overall summed tone.
