Both great pedals, I'm a huge Plexitone fan! And I helped voice the newest small version.

Best thing (of course) is to try both if possible and see what works for you!

Like i said on your FB post... This is possibly my favorite tone i have heard from you and you have captured lots of killer tones!!!!!

+1 for me on this. That little pedal kicks some major butt.

Holy crap! Dang Pete, you make every single thing you play sound killer.

Wow Pete your videos are like Mexican food! they give me GAS. :)

How does this mad professor 1 compare to the bogner blue, other than the mp 1 having reverb?

Pete I hope you consider demoing a Kingsley Jester or Harlot. I have a a jester and its a killer pedal, if I can make it sound good, you would make it sound great. :)

The Blue is more of an overdrive, although in it's boosted higher gain mode you might hear some overlap! It's also more versatile, this pedal is more of a 1-trick pony (but a great trick)

The problem with these pedal demos is that Pete is such a skilled guitarist, he can make any pedal sound good, because he PLAYS good!

Yeah this is a GREAT sounding pedal, but it's Pete's KILLER playing that you're just not going to be able to buy right?

Nice demo Pete. I really appreciate you mentioning the amp you are using. On many demos, they never mention the amp. They just say clean. I feel amps like Fender give a good foundation for distortion and overdrive pedals.

Sounds great, Pete. I ended up buying the new PlexiTone based off of your demo. Great pedal. Now I just need to find another Bassman head.
