Thanks bud. It's actually very bright on the top end but I've been able to subdue that. This amp is crazy hard to dial in. It has taken me months of tweaking, and I'm still working on it. It hates almost every boost pedal I have, the gain and top end can get VERY harsh at the wrong settings and the whole sound completely changes from cab to cab and tube to tube. JJ pre's have been a life saver with this amp. I also started using the low gain input for a smoother, less offensive attack. I think I'm getting closer to carving out a nice high gain tone.
