I fear what would happen if you broke a string. Just dangerous as hell. No safety mechanisms to keep the magnet in a safety channel or from flying off.

Also not rated for anyone using a pacemaker. 500lbs of force is insane.

Yeah this was my first thought too.

500lbs of force is hoping a lot goes right, forever.
 
No .... the bridge shoots across the room in the opposite direction and takes out 1/2 of someones skull
It is thought that most humans only use 10% of their brain, so by my calculations there's still plenty of reserve brain cells left for old half skully face.

I member years ago there was a company that made "optical" pickup systems for basses. Lightwave maybe?


I seem to recall some of those super weird Jackson Antigravity basses having it as well. Apparently did not catch on lol
