Been using a lot of 412 cabs at rehearsal and have been loving it! Some times I bring my Stone Age or Bogner 212, but there is something about a 412, that just sounds more full, alive and bigger, punchier and more fun to play than my 212 cabs. My cab collections is Bogner 212, Stone Age 212, THD 212 and Splawn 412. I am tempted to do another 412 in the near future! My Splawn 412 is going to be the ultimate roc and hard rock cab with a blend of Celestion Creambacks and Lynchbacks. You would think a 412 with light magnet speakers may lack some girth and punch, but somehow Celestion nailed it. Sounds much better than any Marshall 412 I have played. I may get a Bogner 412 next if I can get a good price.....or maybe a Splawn slant this time, since they are so well priced.
