Man that Jet City JCA100h sounds pretty good

A local store is carrying these and I played it and I thought it sounded really nice.

Like I said in a previous thread.
Just as good as any Soldano and a hell of an amp for the money.

I think that's FastRedPonyCar, and he can make a lot of amps sound real good.

Still, cool amp.

I think i saw a thread saying they were PTP...so you can easily mod them?

It is not PTP in the hand wired sense, but I think it would not be hard to mod either..

I have one for sale in the classifieds section.. Just sayin'..

If it sounds good it is good, maybe some just cannot operate amps properly or get the good stuff out which in that case they need to perhaps work on things.

^This.. FRPC was plugging straight into the amp, and I believe he may have added a touch of reverb as well, but he is pretty good at telling you when he is using boost..

This is one head I will probably never regret purchasing. I'm going to do an A/B vid soon with my friend's SLO100 and my JCA100H and see what the true delta is.

Cheers,

Cool! Honestly I could care less how close it sits to an SLO. I need something with crunchy and crunchier, for the classic/hard rock band I'm in, that doesn't have massive differences between the two channels. And from what I have seen , this may just be the answer.

I like it that you can dial in some nice crunch on channel one, then take it even further on 2. I rarely play on just clean.

I'm diggin' the hell out of mine. It very, very, very similar to the Soldano Hot Rod 50+ I had a while back, except the normal channel gets a better clean tone. A very versatile amp. Cuts very well in the band mix, too.
