The fortin is super super tight...and that makes it a bit thin...is it a 50W? cause when you switch to that black thing everything is more "more"...

They both use transistors and diodes for gain right...?

Yeah it’s tight as shit. And yeah 50 watts.

Definitely was not trying to dial them similar. Just two sounds in the room I liked.

The Dominant Aggressor uses diodes but no transistors. The "Gain Style" knob on this amp is a 3-way rotary that selects different value diodes. This changes the feel, saturation and perceived "gain" level. This amp is a standard 3 stage preamp section. It has a ton of usable gain on tap.

I think I like your diode mod more than the 4th gain stage...
It sounds so musical...
