Mark Day's Selling His OD-100. Hey Mark I own an OD-100 SE+ and absolutely love it... What rig are you going to use in it's place ?

I sold it about a month or so ago. I haven't been using it since I moved here. I've been using the AxeFx 2 in my condo. Lately I've really been missing that Marshall tone and I've been playing the amps at Tone Merchants quite a bit and I've totally fallen for the Friedman BE100 (Brown Eye). The BE100 is my next amp...it's on the way and I should have it soon :) Should match up really nice with the four Marshall 4x12"s I just purchased. Maybe a wet/dry/wet rig with 3 cabs? Should be fun anyway.

I think I'm looking to start a band out here, something loud, melodic with tons of harmony vocals :)

Mark

Thanks for the reply ! Glad to hear that you are happy with your new So Cal world....Keep on rockin' !!!

I have Marks OD100SE+ for sale now if anyone is interested.

The Friedman BE100 has enough gain for you ?

How does it compare to the new Steve Stevens amp ?

Thanks.

I think the HBE input should have enough gain, if not he could always jump on the Koko boost.

And yes, do tell us of the final incarnation of the Steve Stevens amp. It should be killer

A BE100 has a shit ton of gain on the HBE setting...more than enough for most players

Nice. I was wondering what was replacing the OD-100.

The BE100 has tons of gain in the HBE mode without a boost and with passives....even for me :)

Your gonna need a truck for gig's (4-4x12's!)...lol. My Bogner 4x12 (2-V-30's and 2-H-30's) I've been using with my BE-100 has been driving me nuts getting it in the backseat of my 08' Malibu! My Bogner 2x12 just does not cut it with a BE-100. It's time for a truck again for me. :)

I figure if I do start gigging I would get a trailer like I had back in Canada. I doubt I would use all of the cabs but one never knows lol.
I have a new CRV which will easily accommodate a 4x12 :)

Atleast you have a CRV ..  Malibu

Marks OD100 is on the way to its new home in Syracuse NY. Nice story, the buyer has been watching Marks videos for a long time and wanted to find a pre owned OD100SE+, he is psyched to be getting the actual amp he listened to in the videos over the last few years.

You're kidding I know you are. You are far too good to be playing rhythm in a band with me, I guess that would make me the sound guy or your tech.

If you're looking for a crappy player to play rhythm in your band I could make time... Word of warning, I'm usually out of tune, time, and drunk. ;)
