If it really is a IIC+, it's a pretty nice deal.
Serial 12273 is a VERY early +, if it is one.
The FX loop test could prove it once and for all.

Do this test to identify that is does have the C+ mod for sure:

Mark IIC+ Effects Loop

To have the definitive proof that an amp is in fact a IIC+ claim, one must first ascertain the above, but to prove beyond a doubt, there is a simple effects loop play test.

1) Plug your guitar into the fx return with the amp in LEAD mode.

2) Play a chord and let it ring out.

3) While it is ringing out, adjust the lead drive pot.

If there is a change in sound as you adjust that lead drive control - it is NOT a C+, it must be a Mark IIC. Reason is because the lead voice was placed entirely in the pre amp section in the C+ whereas the original C had some shaping after the pre amp which is why that lead drive would effect the sound when you plug your guitar into the fx return (bypassing the pre amp section).

All true. The face plate looks right, eg, 'pull deep,' but that serial # would be lowest I've seen for a factory IIC+.

I'm no gut shot expert but it definitely looks different than mine, specifically the empty space over the OT.

If it's legit, the price is about right for a 60 watt w/o reverb.

Also that cab may be aftermarket or at best a later cab built by Boogie. AFAIK the "Sus-4" chassis mounting didn't happen until the Mark3. Still that's a decent price and if it was in my town I'd go check it out. If it sounded good I'd have no qualms about snagging it.
