I mentioned in another thread as I find myself getting older I find my musical tastes changing, I just can't listen to Metallica or Megadeth's new stuff. Seems sophmoric to me but I get why the younger kids seem to like it still. Anyways it leads me to this thread about the late, great Mark Lanegan.
From his amazing second solo album Whiskey for the Holy Ghost to the newer stuff he did with the guitarist Alain Johannes from the band Eleven to working with Mike Johnson from Dinosaur Jr.
Lets not forget his work with the Screaming Trees and Mad Season with Layne Staley.
Hopefully I can turn on some people here to Mark's work that maybe getting bored of the same over driven cookie monster blast beat math metal.
