Quick question regarding the Mesa Mark V's slave out. If i was to slave out from the mark V into a separate power amp for a wet signal and engaged the Solo boost, would the wet signal's volume increase through the additional power amp as well or would it only work on the dry signal? I really enjoy having the 2nd controllable master volume on my Mark V and was hoping it would work in a W/D scenario. I'd hook it all up right now and try it but i dont want to accidentally damage my Mark V or Matrix amp in the process haha.

I use the slave out of my Roadster into a 2:100 and it is GLORIOUS!!!! Pretty sure that's what the slave out was designed for, to output to external power amps! Do it, you'll love it but you may wish you never did as once you go w/d/w it's very very hard to go back!

To answer your question, the boost would occur prior to the line out, so the boost would happen in both W and D. No need to worry about damaging your W rig.

This works just the same as if you switch channels, the channels would switch and both the wet and dry side would get the change. The boost would boost the signal, and then the line out takes it to the wet side.

Awesome, thanks for all the good info guys! I'll just go ahead and hook up the head with the power amp and see what i can dial in before i start adding effects and wiring everything up for good.
