Hey Mark,
I noticed you have your strings over the top of the tailpiece (like a wrap around)
Any plus's doing this,tone,sustain, etc. ?
Thanks, and by the way,the amp sounds sweet as hell my friend.

I'm not Mark but I always wrap my Les Paul strings that way as well. Better sustain and tone. Guys from The Rev to Zakk to Warren all do it.

one of the guys i work with does this, i hate LOL - makes it to slinky feeling, not enough break angle for me...

I'll have to give it a try.

I did it for years on my LPCs and went back to normal. It sounds better for what I do.

I top wrap and it does create a "slinkier" feel. Made it easier for me to go up a gauge.

I like the top wrap because it feels slinkier and it sure looks cool!! lol

There ya go, looks cool is always the right answer.

My Maestro SG has the shallower break angle and I love the tone. Very "Wheels of Fire".

I had to share this from the HRI site....Mark Day from his old band days!

I agree about the break angle, though I usually lower the stopbar to the max to increase the angle. I do like at ouch of that slinky feel as it reminds me of my old lp jr.

I used to do this, but my tech warned against it as it can up the risk of a broken string. I guess you guys haven't had this problem yet?

I wrap mine as well on my paul becouse one my favorites of all time Billy Gibons does it. Plus it helps the tension for me with 11s down tuned a bit.
