I'm getting a lot of hum when my loop is engaged. Is there something I can do to reduce it? Dave?
I'm using a T Rex REplica delay pedal, EHX Nanoverb and a Sonic research tuner, powered by a T Rex "Fuel Tank". It's a Marsha with a return level.RACKSYSTEMS":w3zjbxdw said:Well first off what are you putting in the loop? and what is your amp? and does it have a return level?

I have since remembered you saying to turn the masters to noon and adjust the return level from there. I'll try that next rehersal. I'm going to bring all of my gear home and go through it. Last rehersal the hum was so loud that I had to keep switching to the clean channel to keep the noise down. I've been using this pedalboard in my XTC with no noise problems.
I'll get my rig together and try to pinpoint the offender. I've used this pedalboard with a SLO, XTC and 5153 with no noise issues. I'll be back.RACKSYSTEMS":dds8xwbc said:If the loop is quiet with the cable in it then it is not the loop. Something else is causing the problem.
