Marsha/Naked reviews and some clips

Premier Guitar gave both of Dave's amps the "Premier Gear" award. Here's a link to their reviews and some quick clips of both amps.

Note: For some reason their Marsha says "Friedman" on the logo and they call it the Brown Eye and not Marsha.

It's the better name anyways.

When you searched "Marsha Amp" in Google I got always corrected to "Did you look for Marshall amp?"

And when you play a Friedman, it is so hot, afterwards you might be a fried man

Man that is so awesome, to see you guys really going places, feels good to have been there from the beginning. I'm out of town this week but my engineer is taking a slew of my amps in to be serviced, tubed and gone through. Dave is THE man!

I am surprised it took this long before someone complained. Friedman is a better name. No need to get the Friedman confused with the junk Marshall is putting out now...

I may have one of the last "Marsha" face plates to come out of Cleon Ave. and become rich and famous!

I liked Mike Fortin's take on it - ARSHOL which is easy to do from a Marshall logo. Wonder if he got shit from the mother ship?

Me too! and it ain't going no place! Best amp I've ever had for sure. I do wish the reviewer had done some clips of just the BE instead of all on the HBE. It sounds good but also kinda like he dimed it on HBE with hot BKP pups... that's a lotta gain!

Yeah. I spend much more time on the BE than the HBE. Definitely, where its at.

I also really like the BE but also spend a lot of time with the HBE with the and modern switch
After having the marsha for a while now, I cannot play it without
the C45. Absolute must have.
Mine also has a depth switch.
My fave is BE, C45 and depth engaged. It does not get any better than that

I can see where that would be the favored setting. Depth is a good thing!!!

I may be the only one who is a little sad to see the "Marsha" moniker go. While I agree that it's probably a good thing not to confuse these amps with Marshall's crap that they put out, I always wanted to say that I plugged into Marsha's Hairy Brown Eye.
It's all good though. By the time I can afford one they'll probably be made in Taiwan. (kidding of course )
