My DSL 50 volume fades out intermediately. I've replaced all the tubes with new JJ tubes, the amp basis is set and cleaned all the tube sockets. If I put the amp on standby for a couple of minutes it will usually work again. Problem is sometimes the amp works perfectly for days, then other times the volume fade out happens every time I use the amp.

Also have cleaned all the jacks with Deoxit. I've heard about the problems with the speaker jacks and effects loop jacks getting dirty and causing volume drops. Any ideas of what else to check would be greatly appreciated.

Check the main board for burn spots and the speaker jacks for broke solder joints!

Check your cables, guitar jacks and pots, any pedal input or output that you're using.
Did you replace preamp, power amp tubes or both? Sometimes even new tubes can be bad

Update. I checked the tubes when the volume fades and v1 and v2 are not glowing. Put the amp on standby and waited for v1 and v2 to start glowing again and the amp works. Maybe failing heaters on v1 and v2?
