...and plug a Fender Deluxe Reverb into a 4x12 and crank it with the bass low and the treble fairly high. A humbucker is a good weapon of choice. Sweet Jesus, it's awesome! My local GC had a limited run Head version and into a 5150iii 2x12 it was rock glory.

edit: add to that the Vibrolux Reverb (I mean the new one they make).

What was that girl band? The Donnas or something? They recorded a whole album of theirs with vibrolux's into 4x12s. Its not that new a trick.

Yeah, I remember him saying he liked the way it sounded dimed, you could "hear the tubes screaming" - or something like that. Sounded WAY better than an MP-1!
