Rigtalkers I am seeking your help.
I am running a Marshall JCM2000 DSL50 into a Fractal Audio X-Load into an SSL12 interface with IRs loaded in Cubase. When I turn the master volume of the DSL above 3 something happens (?) which causes the interface to momentarily stop working. If I keep the master low, no issues. The same thing happend with my last interface and it doesn't happen when I connect my Driftwood Mini Nightmare (60w 2x KT88) into the X-Load, no matter how high I run the master. So based on my experience it is an issue between the DSL50 and the X-Load.
Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Does anyone use the DSL50 with another loadbox? I am thinking about getting the Fryette Powerload:IR in the hope that it will play nicer with the DSL but I don't want to spend the cash if this is a known problem. Thanks in advance.
