marshall jcm800 combo to mod it or not

For those of you who have put the loop in, how obtrusive was it? How much of a pain in the ass was it to work on the PCB?

As for the hot mod, they had come across a stock of tubes and were making them a few years ago when i got mine. Atleast I thought i was buying one of their mods.. maybe i just picked one up on ebay from someone else who had bought and used one. Either way, kasha amplification has a similar device for v2 and also has a whole preamp stand alone unit that can be used in a similar fashion.

Directions are pretty straight forward. Just have to be careful measuring voltage to determine the value of the coupling resistor as not to get fried. Otherwise very easy. I mangled up my back plate a bit not using the proper drill bit, but that was just my laziness. Do it right and should be no problem.
