Got some scrap iron here at the house. Listened to Sykes - Cold Sweat live and I need that grinding, aggressive, speakers about to explode Marshall tone. Is it a pretty easy build?

Define easy? :D

I dunno lol!!

I also need to know if there is a way to find out the value of PT and OT transformers. These have no markings whatsoever and are HUGE. Im betting they are 100w but really have no idea. Would love to transform this pa amp into a single channel screamer. It was working and had a great clean sound but one of the resistors went boom, so I put it on the shelf. Let me dig up some pics so you can see what im talking about.

Damn what is Skyes using in that vid anyways??? Sounds like a ton of gain for 1983, chorus working maybe?

Interesting to finally see some schematics on the Jose mods, does anyone have any more cos I have a empty 2203 chassis that needs filling..... the schematic posted here that is hand-drawn is foxing me a bit, what are inputs I and II about, its drastically different from a stock 2203 and looks like its actually based on a plexi style circuit. If anyone has more info on this can they let me know cheers

looks like s switching circuit to engage and disengage the loop... other then that it loosk pretty much the same (the inputs). Ive been thinking about making the mods to my clone but I keep deciding being lazy and leaving it as is is the better bet :D
