I stumbled across this on Wikipedia:
"The Jubilee amps also featured a "pull out" knob that activated a diode clipping circuit (similar to boosting the amp's input with an overdrive pedal). Contrary to popular belief, the Jubilee signal path is all-valve when the boost is not activated."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Amplification
This would suggest that the Jubilee amps only have diode clipping if you choose to use the pull 'Rhythm Clip' setting on the clean channel, and that the lead mode is in fact all tube all the time.
This is not what my understanding was. I thought the diodes in a Jubilee were always in the circuit?
Anybody?
