I've got one and I love it!
Funnily enough I've modded it too

@rockify, what kind of mods did you ? i own and play the Satch JVM, too. I love it.
What i did, i have 2 Tesla EL34 brown based (50Watts) in the power stage. Perfect!

That's just a really good sounding demo all-together. Good tone, good playing, no BS noodling, etc. The kind of demo that will make many want to go buy that amp.

Got one and love the amp. the best response, as this guy in the vid mentions in one of his demos, is to keep the overall Master Volume up, and adjust the volumes with the Channel Masters. Gain channels are clearer and more defined.

Brad king had a new one listed with warranty and all for $1999 yesterday for one day only, wish I had jumped on it

I like!

Wow, that sounds allot better then I expected. He can play pretty good too.

Saw one in the flesh the other day and I was super impressed with the bulid quality. The rubber grip edges on the dials, the tolex, even the back panel too. The jacks and everything were really well done. All appeared a step above typical Marshall fare.
Do want.

It sounds intriguing but using the full on VH demo is a slippery slope because those tones are so ingrained in my head I easily hear deficiencies in the overall sound. It was always a little too wooly or saturated on the top end. That being said I would love to try one in person but I'd be shocked if one showed up in the GC's around here.

Upgrades more than mods I should clarify. Installed a Mercury Magnetics Power/output transformer, new power & preamp tubes.

I prefer the regular jvm for gainer tones. Crunch on th JS is pretty cool though but OD channels are tighter on the regular 410.

@rockify
Do you think the Mercury TRanny does make a difference?
And which valves did you install?

Yes they do make a difference although I will state that different transformers are suited to different styles of music. I like mercury for Comtempory styles of music.
The OT is responsible for the tone.

I went with SED winged c for power and ehx for preamp tubes so far. Still tweaking :)
