Dug out an old demo going thru the channels and modes. Guitar was an 06 Yngwie Strat

Very cool and thanks for posting Carl

I do not care what the boutique lovers say, in the right hands the JVM is a very capable amp and will stay right with anything while maintaining that marshall bark and cut.

I agree. Nomatter how high the gain the Marshall signature cut thru.
Good example is at the end of the vid I played some Zep Lemon Song on the neck pu. Alot of high gainers would sound muddy but even with gobs of gain on the neck pu the sig Strat sound comes thru

Nice sounding demo.
I was prejudiced against new Marshall circuit board amps and the JVM completely changed my mind. There are a TON of good sounds in this thing from the best cleans I've ever gotten from a Marshall to the heaviest doom sludge. It also seemed to mate up with a bunch of different cabinets with no problems either. I've had some amps that only sounded good with one type of speaker or cab but not so with the JVM. Wish I would have got one when they first came out.

That must be the best JVM demo clip I've heard. Sounds way better than the actual amp our other guitarist had as well. And the chops... ;) nice!

On a sidenote there must be something wrong with me... I want a JVM now as well :D!

Great work all around!

Thanks, I got a nice selection of amps but I do miss the JVM as well

the cleaner little wing tone was awesome sounding. I didn't care for the lead tone on higher gain stuff. it wasn't bad but something seemed a bit sterile for lack of a better term. I like the JVM and have heard some great clips of them..

Probably the HS-3 pu's in that Yngwie Strat. Very little output or tone. Also, the Marshall 4X12 i used at that time was loaded w/ Eminence Tonkers.

Loved all of it from clean to scream and while I noticed the verb, I would never call it abuse. Would rather listen to it like that instead of dry as sawdust...

Good stuff Carl....

Thanks, yeah the reverb was added after the fact. I might have added too much. I recorded and mixed everything thru headphones so it was always a crapshoot
