There's 15 minutes of my life i'll never get back.
Dave told me himself he designed the BE-OD to be used w/a clean amp only.

I have had both the original Jubilee and a 2203 and I have boosted these with an overdrive and tubescreamer and even a TC Electronic Parametric EQ. In my opinion there are many amps that sound good with a boost, even the much hated Marshall TSL100... Now, I'm still searching for an amp that sounds as good without a boost.

Check out the Larry subforum

at least, if you really want an amp that doesnt need a boost.

I thought the Jubilee sounded great and the BEOD was damn respectable for what it is. I could see getting great passable Marshall tones with the BEOD.

I like the fact that the Count isn't a pretentious SOB, he covers subjects and answers questions that I like to see when comparing amps, pedals and stuff. The Suhr Reactive load IR gives somewhat of a different response than a speaker to the live ear but eliminates the variables of live micing a speaker IMHO so you really get a better comparison of the amp subject matter.
