How many preamp tubes did you add?
yngzaklynch":24polrw7 said:Hmmmmmm no diodes and no additional preamp tubes but more gain????? I guess there is another way to get more gain from a Marshall???
True you dont have to but IMO clip #1 here sounds pretty damn good but the other clips base tone is lost in a sea of gain sounds Recto & not Marshall.ConcreteVampire":3uj9sljr said:yngzaklynch":3uj9sljr said:Hmmmmmm no diodes and no additional preamp tubes but more gain????? THIS is why I'm a Jerry Dyer, and respectfully a Jerry P fan... Old school, amp knowledge... you don't have to put a Diode or extra tube under an amps ass to get it cooking.... ALL respect to Cameron/Friedman products, just not my sound...![]()

2 questions, where did you get that blue tool holder behind the amp, hanging on the wall?
also, whats that black wand with the yellow cable coming out of it...housed in the gold box? lol...a special customer/cattle prod?

The tool hangers came from Home Depot I think, might have been Lowes. That's an old soldering iron I use for soldering heavy stuff like amp chassis grounds.
