Looks like a nice one. Don't know about the color though. Reminds me of gigantic bleached blonde hairdos from 1990.

I dig it....and also kinda re-discovering my love for quality Ibanez guitars after getting my 7 string as well.

I couldn't resist. I've been very bad... should be here next week!!!

Congrats! When I checked the link I saw it was gone, wondered if you snagged it! Enjoy! Happy New Guitar Purchase Day! :D

That's awesome Steve! Congrats on the great axe. What makes the J Customs so special? I ask since I have zero Ibanez experience.

Fretwork and the higher attention to detail, IMO

For sure and they use nicer materials as well. I picked up a J-Custom 7 string recently and I dug it so much I thought a nice J-Custom 6 string to go with it would be nice. To me they are every bit as nice as Suhrs, etc. and a bit cheaper to boot...

As you can see from the inlays and fretwork the guitars are amazingly well built and finished. They're flawless in every detail! Frets are shiny and the fret ends have been rounded very very nicely. J-Customs are the only new Ibanez' I'd consider buying these days. Well, there are couple of nice other models but they'd need work before they'd be great. I had a chance to test a RRG4 couple of weeks ago but I was so busy that I couldn't make it to the place where it was.

I've never been much of an Ibanez guy, buy I'd sure hit that one. Beautiful guitar, congrats!

Yeah Steve, yellow's nice an obnoxious, but put some electrical tape black VH stripes on it an then you've got something there..... :hys:
