Hi all,
the master volume of my VH4 is much too loud. It does not matter weather using a 1x12 or 4x12 box: turning the master volume by 1mm on the round scale, the speaker get much too loud. The sound is absolutely ok, but I want to regulate the volume using a wider scale than "1mm".
It does not seem that the poti is out of order. When I use an effektboard in der serial loop with very low output I can use a much wider scale. I got the same effect when using preamptubes with less gain than Ruby tubes.
In my preamp I use the suggested Ruby tubes ordered at Diezel. They are 3 month old and should be ok.
Can I change the poti or is it possible to change a resistor on the board.
