So I just connected my Mark V with the matrix for the time so see how it sounds running in stereo. I have the send of the Mark V going out to a pedal to split the signal and then one going back to the mark V's return and the other to the matrix. The cab with the Mark V sounds great but the matrix cab sounds very muffled. Like theres a heavy blanket over it. I know its not a tube power amp but I know a lot of people use the matrix's to run stereo with their tube amps and Im wondering why the two dont match up. If anything I thought the matrix would match better because its solid state and wouldn't have to worry about another poweramp's tubes changing the tone. Anyone else running their amps with a matrix like this and getting the same results? I just have the split signal going into input A on the matrix and output A going to the cab. Am i doing something wrong here?
