Matrix powered cabinet inputs???

What's the latest on the Matrix powered inputs you can install on cabinets, essentially making the power amp part of your cabinet?

Did I dream this? There was a video awhile back with Mark Day demoing them.

Are they available yet, and if so, has anyone heard a price point?

Are you talking about the GM50? Looks like you'll have to carve out a peice on the back of the cab to fit this.

Can you use the cabinet regularly once these are installed? In other words, can you just plug in from your amp 'thru' the GM50?

Doesn't seem like you can unless you install something to switch between the wiring of the speakers between the two. It looks like the speakers connect directly to the GM50.

I'm guessing the main purpose of these was to do W/D/W or just to power a modeler or preamp.
