I really like his playing and I can't stand 99% of instrumental guitar music these days. He has a sense of humor and the way he uses harmonics reminds me of back in the virtuoso days when players had their own signature techniques and everyone didn't sound exactly the same (at least not completely).

If you like his playing, check out CJ Grimmark's self titled solo album. Another Swede endorsed by Caparison. His lead playing sounds exactly like a mix of Mattias and Steve Vai to me.

im 21 and ive been playing for 6-7 years now and im no were as good as vai probely not even worthy to bag his groceries. ive always thought his music was dumb same with becker/yngwie/batio all those guys make pointless music to me but are all very very very great guitar players
