Maxon 808 Extreme!!!

My apologies if the YouTube link doesn't work, I'm on iphone and we know how much iphone lives rig talk. It's a prototype, I'm unsure if there's been any changes since.

I'm curious if anyone has tried this and what their feedback was.

Sounds pretty awesome from the description. Maxon is my favorite 808 that I've tried, almost perfect.

This one has me curious. Too much output will hurt? Or the better definition helps?

What do you think?

I just bought a used Maxon 808 - should be enough for me. Maybe this version is better for clean amps needing more gain than the regular green 808?

Nothing more than a few boutique mods applied to the circuit. NOT worth it. Buy a used green one.

I didn't really dig the sd-1. Can this new Maxon keep the old Maxon sound if wanted or is it just a different pedal?

Not worth the extra $9?

Considering you can get a used maxon od808 or od9 for much less than $159, than it's not really worth it. The od9 is already more agressive and has better low end than the od808, plus true bypass switching. I don't see a real point in this new pedal other than going at the pedal modders out there....
