Hey all,

I see a LOT of press around the MBritt profiles and honestly, the clips on his site sound good but I have felt underwhelmed by most all of the commercial profiles I have purchased. Would anyone be willing to "help a forum brother out"?

There are a few profiles I would love to hear in context of the type of music I play. Would anyone be willing to track a few examples of some of the profiles and post them? I know it's a it odd and it's only $49 BUT … I am not in the business of stealing commercial profiles to "demo" which has been suggested by some guys at my local Guitar Center, but I also don't want to buy and find them not applicable for my needs.

Of the few hundred profiles I have (commercial) about 12 of them sound great. Lastly, are the clips on his site the only profiles of each amp? For example, how many of the Diezel Ch3 profiles are there?

Thanks in advanced.

Might not be your style but I used a couple of his profiles in my Bon Jovi clip...the thread should still be on this first page unless it dropped. His profiles are my fave far and away. From clean to insane.

What you see on his page is what is included in his packs. I prefer this because I don't need 50 profiles of one amp. they all start sounding the same.

I did check that out and it sounds very good. You used some of your own profiles as well though, no? I really am hoping to hear the PT100 and Diezel stuff in the context of something like RATT, Dokken or maybe a little heavier on their own.

I have a large collection of profiles that just sound "distant" if that makes sense. When I listen back to straight clips of my Splawn recorded raw into Logic, it sounds really bold without being too gain. I am never above 12:30/1:00 on Gear 2 of my Quick Rod.

I used my DSL on one side...the other 4 or 5 guitar tracks are Britt's. Most of the commercial profiles I've bought have been underwhelming to me too.

Same here Rich, that's why I started making my own. I thought I'd never need to, but here we are... :D

I'll be attempting to make my own as well. I heard a lot of noise around people getting limited experience with the Kemper and thinking it was not worth the cost of admission. I was underwhelmed on day one. Once I really started messing with it and getting some GOOD profiles, man oh man! I don't know how we survived without it!

Yep.
The first day, I was flipping through the profiles and really only a couple knocked my socks off. The rest were too dark or distant or too processed. Hated most of them. The sound quality was insane thru the headphones so I continued to tweak because I knew the sound was in there.

Someone said that the profile was everything and it's 100% true.
