This is not mine, but I have one with the same finish and configuration. These McNaught's are Les Paul killers. For those of you tired of trying to find a Les Paul to stay in tune and want to step up build quality a few notches, the McNaught Single Cut is the way to go. They are all custom made to order, one at a time. I have two, and have two more in various build stages.

Good price too. This guitar will cost you about $4300 as built.

I've really been digging LP's lately so I'd like to try one of these, but I'd have to play one on person first. I had a tricked out DTM Phoenix at one point that looked and sounded amazing. Unfortunately, I could not gel with the upper fret access AT ALL when I was standing up with it. What's the upper fret access like on these compared to a LP (it's actually easier for me to play the upper frets on my LP than it was my Phoenix)? Do they hang on a strap similar to a LP?

I am with you on that about the Phoenix. In general, I don't gel well with any of those strat-shaped guitars. The VSC access is going to the same as a LP. So, if you are gelling with the LP's, you will be really gelled with a VSC. That particular guitar will have a mahogany body and neck with a flame maple top, Indian rosewood finger board.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good LP and still have 4 of them. But, they are very hit and miss to buy without playing first. The McNaught's are incredible.
