I have a 50 watt Modern Classic I, I need to know what the b+ is so I can set the bias on a fresh duet of Tung-Sol's

Black probe on meter to ground. I use chassis bolt holes. Red probe to standby switch. You can also measure directly on the power tube pins and or through the socket.

I have about 520v where do you set your bias at a little warm or cold?

What amp, a Bogner? EL34's?

No more than 32ma- I would probably keep it around 28-29, but lots of Rigtalk guys like to set it too hot so the amp doesn't 'breathe' and feels choked.... Plus your tube life is cut considerably,
I guess they like crap tone and $pending $$ for new tubes often!

Set the bias @32 gigged last night and the amp sounded great!

That's where I ended up with my MTL...
Perfect, Chris!
