The vocals are overdubbed so badly for this DVD. :confused:

Watch 02:30->

I didn't notice anything, but watching this reminds me of how much I miss Poland in MD. Man he was so much better .:yes:

Something did seem strange to me, but I'd probably get the DVD.

It does seem that way... notice the slightly different phrasing on the "can you put a price on... peace?" line

What DVD is this from?
The video in the OP is from the DVD that just came out this week. "Rust In Peace live at the Hollywood Palladium".

Thank God they overdubbed them. :lol: :LOL:

He has been singing like shit live these days. And I am a total Megadeth fanboy. :aww:

"Live" albums are overdubbed very frequently. This is a funny example but it shouldn't really be a surprise.

it sounds like shit... I'd take the 86 studio version anyday.. Sorry but the "cleaner" tone doesnt fit the old songs at all :doh:

and his voice... :doh: :doh:

Pretty much this. Yngwie's Live in Leningrad is like all fucking studio work. DT has overdubbed some of their live performances, as has Judas Priest, etc.

This is a problem for me as well. When the lead guy goes into the fills it sounds terrible. What happened to gain in metal? :confused:

horrible tone, thin, fizzy, digital, lifeless...

i dont understand the axe fx hype

all i know is i saw them in 2004 with drover on guitar and they sounded great.
even better than on the albums i guess because it was live in a small club.

watched it yesterday (and saw the set live twice) thought everything sounded great, Megadeth isnt all about great vocals to begin with anyways.
