Was looking around for an e530 after hearing some clips, but slept on the cheapest one and it sold. Next cheapest one was way too much for the amount of playing I do these days. Bitched to a friend, and he told me about this plugin. Dig it for $50, and saved me some $. Not gonna say I won't buy the Engl, but this killed some GAS for the moment.

Dig it. The cab sims are good, the cleans are good, the chorus is good, the distortion is fuckin nasty gnarly, and I just like the whole thing.

Only gripe is that over sampling it is a HUGE CPU hit...other than that, no worries.

Sounds awesome! Its amazing how good some of these plugins are getting. I was recording my single rectifier this weekend and decided to compare the Thermionik recto plugin to it and its almost indiscernible.

Sounds pretty good in the mix to me! Definitely has that aggressive upper midrange I think of when I think ENGL.

How does it feel? Does it have a nice feel to it, or just it does sound decent?

Right? Comes down to what you like to play anymore; there's almost no difference recorded.

Yeah, it's good. Feels nice, not Axe level, but what is lol.

There's a free demo that limits some controls, only has one cab etc....give it a shot, you might like it. Definitely worth the $50 to me for sure.
