I have a 2:100 just sitting here doing nothing, but really don't need to, nor do I want to sell it. I was wondering if a Recto Pre + my 2:100 gets that saggy chunky typical Rectifier tone? I have a Dual Rec here, but I plan on running a stereo rig and would rather run 2 pres through the 2:100 for the stereo rig, but want that typical recto tone to be one of the sounds. Just wondering if anyone knew anything about this.
Also, is there anything fun/interesting I could do with my Dual Rec and 2:100 power amp? Is there a way to use my 2:100 as an attenuator sort of? Heard somewhere you can kind of do this... also, if I slave out my Dual Rec into the 2:100, do I have to have a load on the Dual Rec, or will using the slave out bypass the power amp of it?
