Mesa 25w Transformers?

Do the Mark V25, Badlander 25, and Mini Rectifier use the same trasnformers? I was wondering if the Badlander 25 is any louder considering it's got a larger head cab. Anyone know?

Yep, all the same trannies. Really tiny, even compared to other lunchbox amps. Still louder than many, but not band-practice loud, IMO.

The Badlander is the same size as the Rectoverb 25. So no. Not any louder.

That's too bad because I think they are really loud but seem to struggle just a little cutting with cleans or growly, distorted low-mids in a live band situation. Maybe some people disagree but I haven't been able to really - confidently - run a Mesa 25w or even Friedman 20w with a drummer and bassist at a small, open venue with a 2x12.

I used to take my Krank Rev Jr. and my EVH 5150III LBX's to band practice, and they were loud enough, but sounded super farty at the volume I had to turn them up to even be heard. I ran them through my 4x12.

I don't think they struggle a little. I think they struggle A LOT, TBH.
