Got to jam a Rev C Dual Rectifier today. Put it head to head with a Rev G Triple loaded with KT88's and Rev G Racktifier. The Rev C was the clear winner! Man, very aggressive and articulate. Anyone else ever had a chance to check a Rev C?

Jealous!! I love the rev f (well I love the g too) so I imagine the c is awesome as well
A rev f triple is a top amp I want to get my hands on

I had one. Don't remember the number. Sounds great. Basic Recto tone but just lean enough to do fast, tight riffing. Had to keep the presence down quite low, otherwise it set off my tinnitus badly.

In some ways I preferred the F or G. I can run their presence up higher and use a high-pass filter to replicate the Rev C thing or let it run wild and have that enormous Recto thump that the C didn't really have. But the F/G couldn't quite get that angry sound the Rev C had; they were smoother and more polite.

Who owns #6? Great amp for sure. I have #81, which is also a C. Also, at least to my ears, a boost is not needed. Recently had it serviced by Mike B and it's better than ever

I've had it for 10 years now.

A really good friend of mine here in Phoenix. He owns a recording studio here. Has a ton of amps! Half of them have come from me and my GAS! Lol!

I'm sure it could use a tune up as it has sat for quite some time!

I have 2. Had three but sold one last year. The Rev C is the best of best for Rectifiers.

I had #31 that I got new. Sold it about 2-3 years ago. Was a great amp but went to a great home! I got a good price for it also so no regrets.
Was a killer amp though.

I’ve got a Rev G Triple modded to a C and it improved it quite a bit. It tightened it up, and made it more focused and pissed. I’ve got a Rev D Dual #270 hopefully being delivered tomorrow. \:D/

I played a rev F modded to a C by Mike B. I preferred my Rev F to it. That said the Rev F I had was magical. Guy I sold it to felt the same way. I should have kept that amp.
He still has it...

Over time I’ve had all the available revs (c d f g? I think) to me they all sound great with minor differences. I have a early G now it’s great but I really need a chrome chassis I don’t care which rev it is! Any one got one for sale out there?
