Proud original owner of 1986 MKIII Coliseum, w/ Simul-Class, Reverb and EQ. Also have MKIII Blue Stripe combo and a few others. My favorites are the MKIII's and of those-- the Coliseum is my favorite.

Here's a pic from Sat night's gig. Rectoverb combo plus the good old Boogie 2x12 ext cab with the metal grill.

Long time mesa mark IVA owner here. I have actually not played that many mesas. I really like my mark IVA and have been curious about other mesas, but not enough to make the jump.

I've had a Triaxis/2:90 rig, a Mark IV, 3 channel Dual Recto, and I borrowed an ED for a couple days. The Mark IV was heads and tails above the rest. Great amp. I can't stand the Recto voicing so that amp didn't last very long. I've settled on Splawns for what I play.

I probably qualify as a Mesa fanboy.

I'm going to disagree with the others and say that I think Mesa is going in the right direction and they're currently making some of the best amps they've ever made. I've owned and still own some of the older units that everyone raves about and personally I like the new versions better.

I'm a big fan! My rev G, F, and especially the C, are awesome amps. I just wish mesa would bring back the chrome chassis/black face option.

I vote no on a sub forum.

Dual rec and lone star classic was my main rig from '05 to '09, started off with Mesa with a F30. Now I only own a '87 red strip mark III 1X12 fully loaded. That and a Shiva are my main rig right now with some simple effects. I always liked the Mark Series (From IIb to the latter stripes) Love all the hard woods and I think the cabs are brick shit houses. Customer service was always top notch and always had a person to talk to or call me back when I had a question.

Sounds like the general consensus is no to a sub forum which is fine. I was just curious to what others thought about the idea.

Great feedback guys.....clearly there are many others that enjoy these amps.

It's easy enough to just post a thread in the Rig-Talk forum.

Royal Atlantic I love every bit of it. I was a recto guy till this amp come along.

I'm getting a Mesa Boogie Electra Dyne soon, I'm stoked on it!

Had a Trem-O-Verb head. Loved it. Traded for a Triaxis. Loved that too. Dumped that when I though I wanted out of the Rack world. Fast forward a few years, Got a heartbreaker combo. Liked it a bunch. Paired it with a Trem-O-Verb combo. Huge sound. Great 4 channel setup. Then fell away for a while. Grabbed a Studio pre to add the MKII sound to my rig. Decided I wanted the Simul Class power, so moved to a MKIII red stripe. Still loving this amp. Also have a blue stripe at home right now getting overhauled. Maybe I'll keep it, maybe I'll move it. Haven't decided yet.

All that said, Yes, I'm a Mesa fan.

Die hard Mesa/Boogie user since 1990. First it was a studio pre amp for about 15 years then I traded up to a MkIV widebody combo.

I love em. Mostly the Mark stuff but I still find myself thinking about a mini recto every now and then.

Big Boogie fan. I've had a Single Rectifier, Mark III and still own a Mark IV, Mark V and studio preamp.
That video of the modded rectifier is very impressive.

First one I've got was a MK-2b. Got it really cheap to restore, since it was beat to hell. After getting it up and running I made the mistake of plugging in and giving it a run. I still have the amp, and love it! Ever since I've bought two more. Now, there's only four more mesa amps that I want to buy!
Here is what got : MK-2b head, MK-2c+ head, Dual Rectifier Solo rev G.
Love them Mesas!!!

I'm a big fan of Mesa gear. I've had nearly everything they've produced.
