Fantastic amp in TOP shape. If you found this, you most likely already know what these beasts can do. This is one of my all time favourite. I owned a dozen of various Mesa Marks including, IV (A and B) IIC+ (HRG, DRG, SRG, SRGX, Coliseum).
This one has an uncanny IIC+ like Lead Tone. I compared it with a few original IIC+ I owned and I was stunned how close it gets to it. It stays clear and defined under the most brutal gain setting. It's also been my favourite due to its clean channel which is sparkly clear.
This IV spent all of its time since I got it back from Mesa Boogie, in my smoke-free studio and it has never been gigged.
- It has been FULLY serviced by Mike B. at Mesa Boogie in 2019 (check the last picture for bill details)
- New shell
- New Fan (Mike B. pick for low noise)
- New Reverb Tank
- Power Tubes (4x6L6) tested with a Maximatcher II and tightly matched (tested at 95%)
- NOS Pre-amp Tubes cocktail (for maximum gain and clarity)
