Looks cool wondering if it will have that real Mesa grind? Gonna watch the sound clips tomorrow.

Definitely be checking these out a Mesa Hollywood soon. Exciting stuff.

I just saw that in an email from Boogie. Should be some nice pedals there.

I listened to the clips and wasn't overly impressed  :aww:

Finally, somebody is releasing new overdrive pedals...it's about time we had a choice beyond DOD, Boss, and MXR. I'll bet these will bring tones to the masses that were previously unobtainable.

You forgot the sarcastic smilie: :D

Seriously though, I am surprised and a bit disappointed that these pedals are not tube based. I was expecting the Rivera and Bogner pedals to be tube based as well.

Of the 3 though, I am most excited about the Bogner pedals. I am interested to see where these mesa pedals price out at....

Id like to hear some demos. No idea they were even launching this line.

Check the link earlier in the thread, they have demos of the pedals. :)

I got an offer to pre-order earlier today, at a glance they looked to be in about the same price range as Xotic and what not.

Love the clips but it probably doesn't hurt that I've been jonesing bad for a TA-30.

Nice I idea from Mesa but. . . . They're no Reinhold Bogner when it comes to pedals. Stick to amps Boogie. Clips weren't very impressive.

Agreed. Hopefully, they'll charge at least $300 a pop for them, I'd hate to see them cheat themselves, what with discrete transistors and related analog components being so expensive these days and all.

I like the sound clips, especially of the Flux and Tone Burst. The Grid Slammer sounds like a good Tube Screamer with responsive and usable controls, and the high gain one is alright, but not blowing me away like the Bogner pedal clips. For high gain Mesa sounds, the Wampler Triple Wreck seems like the way to go, or maybe the old tube-based Boogie pedals.

Wouldn't mind checking out a Tone Burst someday, but these clips haven't deterred me from buying a Bogner XTC Red. Going to order soon.

In all honesty I've never heard a Mesa demo that I liked. Would love to check these out in person.
