Mesa Boogie Roadster wet/dry

My idea is that i use Roadster + 4x12 for dry signal and then slave from Roadster to the Rjm Rack gizmo where i have all of my effects hooked up and from there to the power amp and 2x12 cab. Is this a good way to make w/d rig. If not send suggestions how to do it properly. Also do i need some more gadgets (line mixer,attenuators, something for ground loop or phasing issues if that can happen). Also send suggestions for decent ss power amp that will drive 2x12. Nothing fancy but with enough power so one day maby i can run two 2x12 in real deal w/d/w setup
 
Should work fine.

Just hook up the 4x12 to one speaker output, then the other speaker output to an attenuator like the THD Hotplate, and set it to LOAD.
The THD Hotplate has a Line Out Socket, connect that to your effects units. Connect their output to the power amp and cab/s.

Any SS power amp is fine, e.g. Rocktron Velocity, even the EHx 44 Magnum power amp pedal works well.


I do a similar thing and don't have any phasing issues or ground loops etc.
