So what's difference between the Mesa 412 4FB and the standard rec cab? I've never heard of a 4 FB cab.

Here are the Mesa 4x12s off the top of my head:

Mesa Recto/Standard/Oversized - Oversized cab for a bigger bass response and a shift in the mids, V30s
Mesa Traditional/Stiletto - More of a traditional sized cabinet for a more direct midrange and tighter, V30s
Mesa Road King - Same size as the recto/standard/oversized, has that adjustable rear portion, C90s
Old School Metal Grill Half-Back - Comes with a plethora of speakers depending on the era

So what's difference between the Mesa 412 4FB and the standard rec cab? I've never heard of a 4 FB cab.

I think they are same

Actually only 2 inches taller.
