Wondering what you guys think. I posted videos that convince me. So you don't have to look. Most of you probably familiar w reborn recto. The dv is very impressive. Wish ola would comment. Tnx guys.

I am wanting that grindy, dirty , unrefined type tone.
I am looking at Mesa dual recto reborn or the Dv mark triple 6.

I've played n owned many mesas. They r worth every penny. They have proven themselves over n over in studios. Metal is there game.
I've owned old dual 2ch., Triple rec 3 ch., triaxis, Mesa 290,RA 100

Never a reborn.

Yes have played mark v n mark iv ... Nice not for me.

In comes DV Mark Triple 6
Can't play it no one has it. I spoke to fluff a bit on it. Watched his videos n ola englund videos n all the others. Very consistent tone. Sounds brutal.

Who is DV Mark? US built stuff? Never heard of them.

I see musiciansfriend has their amps listed as an exclusive brand.

Guitar Center in Seattle carries them. Came close to plugging in a couple of times but still haven't. Next time I go I will.

I am pretty stupid; I freely admit that. So how is it that they can achieve 120 watts with only 2 KT88's & 1 ECC83 (which is also being used for preamp tubes)?

As I listen to the videos back n forth real close the dv has a darker tighter edge that the Mesa doesn't ,maybe the kt88s have something to do with it.

Played the dual n triple reborn rectos today. Triple hands down. Bigger bolder more presence that its there.

Huh but I can't play triple 6 now one has it. Shit !

Decisions

i guess thats the only way I know how to play it unfortunately.... Sounds killer from the clips

I've played both and I'd go with the mesa. It had a big and bold punch that the DV can't match. If you just want loud, the DV is ear piercingly loud.

and just a heads up- DV Mark is the guitar side of Markbass. The line is exclusivly carried at GC in the USA. They try to make hi-fi sounding amps that weigh less than other amps.

So you don't think the dv is true to the sound in those videos ?
