Ton o' noodle...

Here's the amp with a Peavey Wolfgang guitar...funny how much more gain the amp has with this guitar compared to using a Les Paul with low output pickups.

Don't mind the nutty wankage. :D

Here's another, going through the amp's modes and using an OCD pedal...

Sounds nice and chewy. Mesa's got a winner with this amp.

sweet! Very crunchy. Is that with a boost? I plugged into one at GC awhile back and thought it was a pretty cool amp.

It is pretty thick sounding...best gain tone from a Mesa I've played yet for my tastes.

sounds great man!
Thanks Darrin...I'm diggin' it, but I'm still gonna swap in a high power H75 from Scumback Speakers me thinks.

Thanks...no boost, just the Wolfgang guitar.
They are pretty cool amps. I'm looking forward to getting it on stage and out of my basement

I like the lead tones. The Rhythm is a little woofy to me. Sounds good overall though.

I like the lead tone to...fun to play, it sings nicely.
I could see using a pedal, not really for adding much more gain, but for adding a little more stringyness and removing a bit of lows. For a 1x12 combo this thing rumbles, lots of bass.

The rhythm tone reminds me a lot of Jake's tone on the first Badlands album. Anybody else hear it?

That was really nice. Now... throw a Barber Direct Drive infornt. Level maxed, tone at noon, and gain at < 9:00. I'll bet with a nice boost out front it kills!!

Yeah, i haven't heard many combos at all that sound like the Electra Dyne. Most others have a boxy or open sound and lack that solid feel and sound. Mesa did something right.

I hear sort of what you mean, it has that straight in raw tone (except for all the delay in the loop) :D

Thanks...I don't have a Barber, I'll try my RC Booster, although that might make the amp even looser feeling.

Yes, it sounds big and warm. I tried the Marshall VM combo with it side by side and the VM had a boxy/thin bass tone compared to the Electra Dyne
