I've watched a lot of videos on the PWE today and it's a great sounding amp from what I can tell. I'll probably pull the trigger on any one of these amps, which ever I come across first with a good deal. The PWE really has me intrigued.

Why not a JVM Satriani? They seem like a great amp.

They are indeed great amps. But I think the Shiva 20th and PWE cleans are better. Certainly more classic Fendery cleans, imo.

I love the Shiva and the ED. The only thing I didn't like about the ED was the weight of it. I used all three channels with various OD pedals like a Tube Screamer, SD-1, and OCD. I absolutely loved the tone and the feel of that amp. The Shiva sounds amazing on both channels and takes pedals well, but feels a bit stiff under my fingers. You won't go wrong with either amp.

Ever consider a Mesa Boogie mark iv? You could put el 34 tubes in it for a nice Marshall flavor.

I loved my Dyne when I had it... It would be the perfect amp for me if the red channel had more gain and was voiced a little more modern. The clean is fantastic, takes pedals well and the crunch/ med hi gain was great as well. I just didn't want to resort to pedals so...
I sold it back to Danyeo ISO an amp wit 3 channels and a more modern high gain capability. Ended up with the 5150III 50watt and now I'm totally unhappy with my cleans
I can't seem to find a 3 channel amp that I love all 3 channels in my price range...
I don't know if the answer is a mesa mark v, axefx/eleven rack or a modeled clean sound from a pod or gsp with my 5150... It never ends

Don't overlook the Mesa transatlantic series. Love the ta15, very flexible and can give you great cleans nudd do some nice British crunch. They make a ta30 which has an effects loop. I know you wanted at least 50 watts, but it think you should consider the ta30 which can be run up to 40 watts.

I agree about the red channel on the Electradyne not having enough gain. I also couldn't find the blend I wanted between clean/crunch/dirty. If I had the gain up to where the red channel was BARELY giving enough, the blue channel had TOO much gain for a nice semi-distorted tone. Part of the problem was I never could turn it up enough to get the power tubes cooking. It's way too loud for most situations I was in. Even so, I think my Roadster does the multi-channel thing better, without having to crank it to get the goods.
