Mesa Electrodyne

I got to play one of these at Guitar Center today at lunch. I have to say that I am highly impressed. I haven't had amp g.a.s. in a l-o-n-g time. I guess it's time to start saving pennies. The high gain channel almost plays itself. Very expressive. It's a new tone for Boogie, but it has a familar feel to it. Thick and chewy with a nice presence to it. I definately see one of these in my future.

Definitely agree, the electradyne sounds great. In my opinion it is the best "pedal taker" out there too which is a huge bonus.

I've been saying it all along. Just add a pedal like a BB Preamp and it turns into a flamethrower. IMHO, with a good OD pedal it completely stomps the mark V.

I played one at GC a few weeks ago from a large selection of boogies and that was the best one out of the bunch, great amp.

I went into GC a couple years ago to try out a Mark V and just fell in love with the Electra Dyne. Ended up buying one.

Still love it. Great classic rock amp.

With a tube screamer, Xotic BB or my Sonic Edge J&J OD(best OD ever!), it will do any form of music, period!
